Composer Note:
In this early electroacoustic work I juxtaposed the poem Rachel by Bat-Sheva Shapira with two lists: the first is a list of the Palestinian villages that have been evacuated and ruined in 1948, and the second, a list of Israeli towns and settlements that were built upon those lands. The title of this composition is a paraphrase on the title of a famous Zionist song.
