Instrumentation: flute

Duration: 3 minutes

World Premiere: December 14, 2005, Albert Beger (flute), The University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel

Composer Note:
The sound of this composition is derived from the sound of the Hebrew language. In parts of the work the player is asked to sing syllables from the Hebrew alpha-bet into the flute while playing to clarify the idea behind the composition and its process – synthesis between the sound of the Hebrew language and the sound of the flute.

Albert Beger, flute
