Eavesdropping Concerts

Eavesdropping was founded as a cross-genre new music concert series in May 2010 at the Tank, and in August 2013 moved to Spectrum, a concert venue which “recalls New York’s experimental-music lofts of the 1970s and ’80s, but its spirit harks back further, to the Romantic salon and to private-house concerts” (New York Times). Hailed as a “bold concert series” (icareifyoulisten.com), Eavesdropping hosted some of the most daring performers and cutting-edge composers.

Eavesdropping Mission

My mission was, and still is, to offer a “stage for risk-taking and the exploration of non-conventional sound” and to present a “relevant boundary-breaking artistic work.” (The Tank NYC) The intimate, “homey vibe” at Spectrum enabled me to bring audiences close enough to become part of the creative process.

Future Concerts

Today, no longer bound to one specific location, I am as committed to producing and presenting innovative programs under the Eavesdropping label. Over the years, I have partnered with other presenters and produced multidisciplinary events that are relevant and intriguing. I welcome these partnerships as they are purposeful and inspiring to everyone involved.
